The Stratus-R returns in Dark Tiger and Blueberry Choco Chip™ —the first new colorways introduced since the jacket debuted last season in Multicam®/Black.

This release also introduces two firsts for QILO apparel: a sleeve-mounted loop velcro panel and custom QILO-branded TPU zipper pulls. Positioned on the wearer’s right sleeve, the loop panel accommodates unit insignia, identification, or morale patches.

This velcro panel is cut into the shape of our logo.

Breathability has also been improved for this season, with the fabric’s moisture vapor transmission rate increasing from 10,000 to 15,000 MVTR—a 50% improvement over the original Stratus-R.

STRATUS-R in Blueberry Choco Chip™

What is the STRATUS-R?

The Stratus-R is our first true rain/storm shell utilizing Gore-Tex level performance & technology.

The jacket is constructed of a 3-layer laminate fabric consisting of a nylon outer shell, a middle membrane, and an inner liner, bonded together for maximum weather protection and durability. This construction provides a waterproof, breathable, and windproof material, with the inner layer protecting the membrane and the outer layer providing abrasion resistance.

The interior is seam-taped to prevent water leakage through seam/stitch lines and embroidery hits.

*The Stratus-R fits on the slightly roomier side to accommodate wearing insulated mid-layers underneath. We recommend ordering the same size that you normally would in QILO or most other brands’ jackets. The exception to this is if you never plan on wearing it in cold climates, as a rain/storm jacket only. You can size down if this is the case.

The Ribbed Knit Beanie is constructed of 50% wool, 50% acrylic.

We chose a wool–acrylic blend for a reason: pure wool can be delicate, and synthetics alone can fall short on warmth. The wool keeps you warm on cold days, while acrylic adds resilience—so your beanie won’t stretch out, lose shape, or demand high-maintenance care.
