Introducing the Serval Running Short - our most advanced short to-date.
Three proprietary QILO technologies come together in a single garment, addressing waistband adjustment, airflow, and ventilation where heat accumulates. Secure storage and reflective detailing complete a design built around movement.
Stowcinch™ Waistband System
An integrated bungee drawcord runs within the waistband and adjusts through a compact cordlock at the interior front. Once set, the cord and hardware tuck into a dedicated waistband compartment, keeping the adjustment system neatly contained. No knotting. No dangling drawstrings.
Aircut™ Ventilation System
Two overlapping fabric panels form a horseshoe-shaped vent across the rear of the short. Spaced bar-tack anchors secure the panels while leaving open passages for airflow between attachment points. Dark silver reflective taping traces the entire vent perimeter, following the construction from the sides through the upper back and adding visibility when directly illuminated.
Isovent™ Crotch Gusset
First introduced in our EDC Mk. IV Short, Isovent™ brings targeted ventilation to an area prone to heat buildup. Laser-cut perforations in the shape of the QILO logo allow airflow directly through the gusset, integrating a signature detail into the garment’s functional construction.
Secure Storage
Two zippered thigh pockets sit beneath fabric welts that conceal the zipper tracks for a clean exterior. Silicone-dipped cord pulls provide an accessible grip. A small hidden rear pocket is nested where the Aircut™ panel meets the waistband, providing secure storage for compact essentials such as AirPods, an ID, or a credit card.
Reflective Signature
The QILO logo is rendered in a muted, dark silver-grey reflective finish. Subtle in shade, it returns light toward its source when directly illuminated.
